Gday everyone, I’m back in Australia finally! I want to start off by saying that I appreciate people understanding that I’ve had to take time off this, moving across the world is super time consuming and basketball and betting had to take a back seat. I’ll be granting all of you a free week extension as part of your subscription, I haven’t been active over the past week which is what you guys pay for. I also foresee lower volume for the rest of the first round, I haven’t been able to watch games which I think is pivotal when betting playoffs. I’ll do my best to catch up on tape and that stuff but watching games and catching onto potential adjustments is the key to playoff betting, I’ll feel much more comfortable from round 2 and onwards. I won’t have bets for todays games but will have them for tomorrow. I’ll post the earliest at 11 PM AEST, that’s 9 AM ET. • This is the ultimate playoff buy-low.
• Russell shot 6/20 last game, that’s obviously fantastic volume but awful efficiency.
• As a bettor all I can do is bet based on volume, there’s times I’ll get lucky with efficiency and there’s times Ill get unlucky.
• Russell was the beneficiary of LBJ getting doubles whenever Gordon was switched off him, that’ll continue tonight.
• I also expect AD to get extra attention tonight, Denver didn’t double on the catch which I expect more of when he’s got deep post positions.
• Russell had a slew of floaters that didn’t drop, they usually fall for him as he’s great at getting his defender in jail off the pick-and-roll so when that situation pops up tonight, I’m sure he’ll make some more of those shots.
• Russell also played 41 minutes despite a bad game, Ham knows he needs the shot making of Russell, so it looks like he’s locked into 38+ minutes.
• In games with LBJ, AD, and Reaves this season where he played 38+ minutes, he was over this line in 10/11 games. The only game he went under was last game vs Denver, if we get even the slightest bit of regression, he’ll cash this line.
