Nuggets at home are impossible not to take. Timberwolves are a fun team but outside of Ant Edwards struggles for consistent scoring. Nuggets may just be too good. Timberwolves are one of the few teams with size to compare to Nuggets. I’ll take Nuggets and lay the 4.5, should be a good one.

- White Sox starter in the month of April only gave up 8 runs through 30 innings and has only given up more than 2 earned runs once all season. He has also looked sharp his last 3 times out, finding his best stuff.
- Cardinals are starting Lance Lynn, who is a veteran who has been solid for a while, he has a 2.64 ERA and has been solid so far this season.
- Neither teams lineup is super scary to me either, both teams bat under .220 and have an OPB under .300. With good pitchers getting the start today, I think we see very little offense early.

⚾Giants/Phillies Under 7 (-105)
- Phillies are starting Ranger Suarez, who has been sensational this season. In the month of April, Suarez gave up just 3 runs in 36 innings which was a 0.75 ERA. He has also gone at least 6 innings in all of those starts.
- Giants starter has only given up 1 earned run in each of his last 3 starts, which is 3 runs over 18 innings. Looking for him to be gaining confidence and have some of his best stuff today. If he can keep the ball in the park he should have a chance.
- The Giants offense has really been struggling lately, they have not scored more than 3 runs in 8 straight games, and with Ranger Suarez throwing against them, they may be lucky to score 3.
- This total is low so get uncomfortable.

⚾Angels/Guardians Under 8.5 (-122)
- Angels starter Reid Detmers was dynamite to start the season, then has had two poor outings in a row against good lineups. I look for Detmers to get back to form today and have a good start.
- Guardians starter Ben Lively has been solid in his starts this season, he only has been out 3 times, but he has seen too very strong offensive lineups and shut them down. Today he will see the worst lineup he’s seen all year and should continue his success.
- Guardians bats have been bad recently, and the Angels don’t have a great lineup, and the total feels high here.
