Happy Wednesday Café! With NBA/NFL both over, which are our two main sports, the Café 2023/2024 season officially comes to an end. It’s been an incredible year of growing the café, learning a lot, launching this community, and we can’t wait for the future of it all. This is year 2 of something we’re going to be growing and improving for many years, and we can’t wait.

Don’t worry, there won’t be any charges or anything between now and the start of the NFL season. Yesterday, all memberships were paused and extended to the first week of football in September. However many days you were into the month or cycle of the membership, is exactly where it will pick up in the Fall. We started the Café because we wanted to build something around the sports we love watching, and unfortunately baseball hasn’t been one for us in recent years, which is really the only sport consistently on for the next couple months. So instead of trying to force out bets & content every day for sports we’re not as locked into, we’d much rather take these two months to recharge for the Fall. Because Fall into Winter is the best time for sports, where we’ll have NFL & NBA going at the same time, and it’s going to be electric. We’ll be sending out multiple videos & posts a day once we get there. It can’t come soon enough.

We still may occasionally send out some picks this summer that we like for the UFC or Euro’s, so still look out for those possibly. The Discord will also still be here and we think we’ll run a community ladder contest for July & August. So if you’re wanting to reach out with a question about a play or anything, still be sure to send it our way in the chats.

And finally, thank you so much to everybody that’s come along to be a part of this journey. This is the thing we’re most passionate about, and its honestly unbelievable there’s been so many people that have been down to be a part of it. Thru the highs and lows, it’s a process that we’re working on day by day with the goal of becoming the greatest community of people that love sports and finding plays. We’re getting better one season at a time. Only uphill from here, and we can’t wait to continue climbing this mountain. Let’s ride ☕️

Happy Tuesday Café! The NBA season is officially over as the Celtics bring home the Championship! Sad to see the season come to an end, it really wasn’t the most exciting playoffs, but at least our main parlay comes thru last night as Luka gets it going in the 4th quarter to get it done for us. Unfortunately, the extra parlay doesn’t pull thru because we regretfully trusted Derrick White assists again. If Luka was our MVP this playoffs, Derrick White was the opposite. Because of the consistency he pulled thru for us during the regular season, especially at home, we continued to trust him in this series, and he let us down far too many times to count. That’s on us for getting too comfortable with a prop. One of the main lessons we take away from this season.

Because there’s no longer any NBA or NFL, we’re going to be taking a pretty long break after tonight. We won’t be posting any videos for most of the summer, and will only possibly send out some DubClub posts if there’s any bets that really stand out to us for either UFC, Euro’s Etc. But don’t worry, starting tomorrow, all charges for memberships are put on pause, and everything is extended until September when the NFL starts. Won’t be charging anything while we aren’t doing this day in day out. Discord will still be here & we still may run a community ladder for July/August, but we won’t be as active with our bets since the only main sport daily is baseball, which we aren’t the biggest fans of and wouldn’t want to give you all our opinions on a sport we aren’t as locked into. Would much rather step away from the betslips for the summer to recharge for a massive Fall & Winter. We’ll send out a full DubClub post recapping all this tomorrow, but for now we’re still sending out ONE MORE play for the NHL tonight.

And for that play we’re taking it to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals as the Panthers try to win the Championship on their home ice against the Oilers. We’ve had mixed results in this series, with our most sweat free hit coming in the last game when we took the Oilers Moneyline and they came out with a big 8-1 win. We’re going to jump back into some props for this one play to hopefully also end the NHL season with a W. If we do, we’ll send $50 to three of you all thru Discord, and we hope that’s how we get to end the season

2nd Leg: Florida Panthers Moneyline
-We imagine this series is taking a very similar path to the NBA Finals series. You saw one team dominate thru the first three games, then get absolutely clobbered in Game 4 on the road, losing 8-1. The defense looked incredibly loose in Game 4 by the Panthers, after locking up the Oilers in the first two games of this series at home, holding them to just one goal between those first two games. We think the Panthers took their foot off the gas, and we’re expecting the defense to look a lot more like it did at home, as they know this is an essential game. You don’t want to go back to Edmonton. We believe the Panthers are the better of the two teams, and we’re counting on them to get the job done.
