0.75u Cam Akers u1.5 receptions (-105 Fliff) - Texans

Great value here fading Akers who saw a decline in his role last week, especially one that deters receiving production. Stroud threw 40 times, but Akers ran just 10 routes, playing 0 3rd down snaps as well as just 1 snap in the 2 minute drill compared to Dare Ogunbowale’s 14. For a guy boasting a poor 0.07 TPPR this season, 1.5 at this price is too good to pass up.

Akers in his career has also never really been a receiver and in fact, has only covered this line twice in his career when running <10 routes. The return of Tank Dell can also take targets away from him, further backing the value this play has. Just 0.75u as I do want to see Dare’s props tomorrow, giving myself room to add.

0.75u Josh Downs o4.5 receptions (-115 DK) - Indianapolis Colts

Will try to write up later. Essentially attacking passing volume for Colts with AR out. Downs over in 7/9 with 23+ routes without AR, Minshew and Flacco relatively comparable. Leading team in TPRR since return, Jags starting slot corner the worst graded of all their healthy secondary players.

Expecting Jags to win so think they play from behind too, Flacco at 23.5 completions, getting 5 from Downs feels like a small ask.
