The Pirates face the Cubs in a 3 game home stand as both teams come off close losses. The Cubs have the slight edge as their batting has been just solid enough to outlast a tough Orioles team last series 2-1. But…Pirates love lefties, and the Cubs will start Smyly as a very hittable LHP. So we go to the .767 OPS Pirates vs. LHP and recent results in their last outing earlier this month to highlight 4 probable Pirate hitters below:
