I have been doing this for a long time and over the years I have learned that there are only a few ways to win money betting on sports long term. Arbitrage betting is one, and the other is beating the market.

To consistently beat the market you need to get favorable numbers. To get favorable numbers you need to beat early. If you are betting closing lines you are not going to succeed long term. Public bets closing lines, pros bet early. Start thinking like a pro.

Well...I used to. Before I moved away from a legal province and now I have limited access to off-shore books where i'm mostly limited, or bookies with unfavorable lines. I still get as much action down as I can but since I moved I have decided to share my knowledge of the industry with as many people as possible.
