Orioles ML +105 vs. Red Sox
Cade Povich has been very hit or miss in his rookie season this year but he pitched 7.1 scoreless innings in his last outing and he allowed just 2 runs in 6.1 IP against the Red Sox earlier this season. Brayan Bello has really struggled to find some consistency all season long and you really never know what you’ll get out of him. He has faced the Orioles three times this season and he has one good start and two decent starts. The Orioles aren’t hitting righties very well right now but the Red Sox have been even worse against lefties in the last 30 days. The Orioles bullpen is also ranked 13th in the last 30 days while the Red Sox are ranked dead last. The Os are 7-3 against the Red Sox this season, I think the wrong team is favored.
Angels Twins Under
Reid Detmers made one start since being recalled and he straight up dominated the Dodgers allowing two runs in 6 IP while striking out 10. David Festa has actually been pitching pretty well but he hasn’t been getting very deep in games. The Twins really struggle against lefties while the Angels have been the worst team in the league against righties the last 30 days. The Angels have actually had a very good bullpen though ranked 5th in the league in ERA the last 30 days while the Twins are ranked 20th. The Twins are just 11-17 in the last 30 days while the Angels are 8-19 but both teams have been playing low scoring games.
Dodgers -1.5 +105 vs. Cubs
Walker Buehler is starting and he has been better lately although I still don’t expect him to go more than five innings or so. The Dodgers bullpen has been good and they will have everyone available. Kyle Hendricks has been pitching decently but he really hasn’t been tested by any good lineups recently. The Cubs bats are ice cold right now while the Dodgers should have their full lineup back in other than Teoscar Hernandez and the Cubs bullpen has also been struggling a bit ranked 18th in the league the last 30 days.

I am a former MLB analyst and handicapper for CBS Sports and Sportsline. Previously, I worked for the Blue Jays in their Player Development & High Performance departments out of graduate school. I worked for Tulane Baseball as a Quantitative Analyst while working towards my Masters degree in Biostatistics at Tulane University.
